TDM is currently seeking a dynamic technical writing intern to join our team. The intern will assist in the creation and editing of technical content related to users’ guides, course/workshop materials, and presentation content. This internship will provide an opportunity for hands on experience and knowledge in state of the art, continuous communication, and marketing campaigns.
As a technical writing intern, you will participate as a member of a multi-discipline design team to assist with assist in the creation and editing of technical content related to users’ guides, course/workshop materials, and presentation content. This may include researching best practices in documentation, training, and knowledge delivery methods.
Internships with TDM are hands-on, resume-building, unpaid academic experiences for academic credit to qualified college junior, senior, and graduate students.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skill
- Completed their freshman year of undergraduate studies
- High degree of verbal and written proficiency with the English language
- Must be process oriented, organized, and self-disciplined
- Must have a proven ability to establish and follow schedules
- Have a strong planning and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate status regularly
- Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of MS Office tools
Qualifications – Experience and Education
- Enrolled in a college or university and have completed at least two years or related four-year degree program in English, Communication, or Engineering discipline
- Fundamental understanding of technical writing
